Here at the MRD, we have strong connections with our friends at the City of Montrose, which owns and manages most of Montrose’s outdoor spaces and parks. We invite you to help celebrate the City’s reopening of Buckley Park, one of the city’s oldest and busiest parks. This past year, it has received a complete, $420,000 renovation – the first of several to occur to playgrounds in the coming years. We are thrilled that Buckley Park playground is back open for inclusive, safe, and ‘full send’ fun! C’mon out to Buckley Park at 300 N Nevada Ave on Saturday, December 2nd, 11am – 1pm. Visit www.cityofmontrose.org for more information.

Compliance Procedures and Reports
In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards,
Montrose Recreation District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
