Suzy’s Fitness Philosophy:

“Every great structure is built on a solid foundation. I believe in a thorough assessment for each individual to determine training readiness and where to begin. Assessment includes posture, muscle imbalances, balance, flexibility/mobility, joint stability, core strength, and nutrition profile. From this structure we build a solid foundation with injury prevention strategies, methods for pain reduction, and corrective exercise, all while making the program enjoyable and sustainable.”

Bio:

I have been involved in the Fitness, Holistic Health and Rehabilitation field for 25 years. I have worked in various settings and with many populations: one-on-one with clients, designing post rehab programs, teaching corrective exercise and proper body mechanics, outdoor bootcamps, small and large group exercise, USA gymnastics programs (Kids on the Move and Sports Readiness), and ACL injury prevention for high school women’s soccer. Most recently, I returned to school to earn a Massage Therapy License which has given me a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, structure, and function of the human body as well as, the importance of stretching and moving muscles daily. My goal as a personal trainer is to use all that I have learned to help motivate, support and guide clients toward an active, healthy, lifestyle in and out of the gym. Personal Training is an investment in health and what is learned from it should last a lifetime.
